The southern end of Science Drive on campus.
Science Drive crosses Abercorn Street. A sign on the right side of the intersection directs southbound Abercorn drivers to Middleground Road on their right.
Middleground Road heads north through residential neighborhoods. Bordering it on the left is a fence which separates it from the Hunter Army Air Field.
The road continues north, intersecting no real major roads except for Tibet Avenue.
Here the road hooks to the right, and becomes Montgomery Cross Road.
